Strawberry Lemonade




Strawberry lemonade, this recipe is quick and easy, perfect for summer days.  Adding strawberries or any fruit of your choice gives slight variation to classic lemonade. To make it healthy I am going to add ginger and honey instead of sugar syrup. Adding black salt and roasted cumin powder adds good flavor to lemonade.



Ingredients:

  • 10-12 strawberries
  • 2 cups Chilled water
  • 1” ginger piece
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Black salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Few ice cubes


Instructions:

  • Blend all the ingredients using 2 cups of water.
  • Strain the mixture. Add additional honey, lemon juice or black salt to taste.
  • Serve cold over ice.
