Cheese grilled sandwich




Sandwiches are widely popular food , eaten in every house. Easy to prepare, typically taken to work, picnic, can be served as mini party appetizers or simply healthy breakfast. Though there are different fillings goes in but the basics remain same in between bread. Any bread and vegetables can be used. Typical Indian sandwich would be bread spread with butter and green chutney with layers of potato, tomato, bell peppers, onions and cucumber served with tomato ketup. But we can do same thing by cutting vegetables into small cubes mixed with some spices and cheese.  

Sandwich Recipe:

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • 4 slice brown bread
  • ¼ of bellpepper finely chopped
  • ½  onion finely chopped
  • 1 tomato diced
  • ½ cucumber finely chopped
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hung yogurt
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
  • Green chutney to spread on bread
  • Butter or oil to grill bread 

Instructions:
  • Mix all ingredients mention above except chutney and butter.
  • Spread green cutney on one side of bread.  Spread generous layer of mixture on top and cover it with another bread.
  • Spread butter on top and grill.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketup.
